Terms of service

The service

Future of My Job (“we”, “us”) provides an estimate of how AI may affect the work you currently do, based on your answers to a short assessment. The free result and the paid Career Transition Plan are estimates and general information.

They are not a prediction. They are not career, financial, legal, tax or employment advice, and they are not a substitute for advice from someone who knows your situation. Decisions about your work and your career are yours. The methodology page explains how the estimate is made and what it cannot tell you.

The paid plan

Free public beta. New paid-plan purchases are currently unavailable. The assessment and work snapshot are free. Existing purchasers retain access through their private results link; the delivery and refund terms below continue to apply to those purchases.

• One-time purchase. For an existing purchase, the amount on your receipt is the price paid. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• Delivery. The plan is delivered as a web page at your results link. It is generated for you after payment and is usually ready within minutes.
• Checkout and receipts. Payment is handled on the checkout page of the provider offered for your purchase. Review that page and your receipt for the seller’s identity, applicable charges and payment terms. A payment processor is not necessarily the seller. Refund questions can be sent to the contact address below. We never handle your card details.
• If generation fails. A failed generation can be retried from your results page. If the plan still cannot be generated, or it is not delivered, email antonio@futureofmyjob.com with your results link and we will arrange a refund on request, through the payment provider.
• Generated content. Because the plan is generated for you as soon as you pay, you agree that delivery begins immediately. If you believe your plan is defective, contact us within fourteen days of purchase and we will put it right or arrange a refund.
• Refund requests. Use the refund or support instructions on your receipt, or email antonio@futureofmyjob.com with your results link or order id so we can find your purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the service for its purpose and not to:

• Try to open other people’s results by guessing or manipulating links, or access any part of the service you are not meant to reach.
• Scrape, crawl, overload, probe or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on.
• Enter information you do not have the right to share.
• Present a result or a plan as a prediction, a guarantee, or an endorsement by us.
• Resell the service or plans generated by it.

No accounts

There is nothing to sign up for. Your result lives at a results link that contains a long random identifier, and the link is the only key to it. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it with care. If you lose the link and you entered an email address during the assessment, contact us and we will try to find it. If you did not enter an email address, we may not be able to.

Content and rights

You keep all rights to the answers you give us. You give us permission to process them to compute your result, generate your plan and operate the service, as described in the privacy page.

The scoring framework, the site and its design, and the plans it produces are ours. You may share your results link and print or save your own plan for personal use. You may not copy the site or reproduce plans for others.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as it is. Estimates can be wrong, and the AI-written plan can contain errors or omissions, because it is interpretation, not measurement. We do not promise that the service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and, to the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including lost income, lost opportunities or decisions you make on the basis of a result or a plan. Our total liability to you for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Availability and changes to the service

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. We intend to keep results links working for as long as the service operates, but we cannot guarantee that a link will work indefinitely. If we discontinue the paid plan before yours is delivered, we will arrange a refund.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. If you are a consumer, nothing here removes protections you have under the law of your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
